Lucas Laet

Lucas Laet has been training Jiu-Jitsu since 2004 and is a black belt. With over 10 years of experience as an instructor, Lucas has helped many students achieve their goals in the sport. He has an impressive collection of national and international titles, including Brazilian champion, American National champion, European vice-champion, Rio Grand Slam champion, Brazilian gi champion, and third place in the world championships.


Lucas believes that Jiu-Jitsu is a powerful tool for transformation that brings people together, regardless of religion, gender, profession, or skin color. He dedicates his life to teaching and promoting Jiu-Jitsu, aiming not only to develop technical skills but also to build a sense of community and mutual respect among his practitioners.

Thiago Callegario

Black belt in Jiu-Jitsu from the GFTeam, professor and producer, Thiago Callegario started Jiu-Jitsu 30 years ago, coordinated the fight program in various academies in the US, where he lived between 2018 and 2023, but never disconnected from Rio de Janeiro, the city where he was born and raised and knows every detail.


Passionate about Rio and Jiu-Jitsu, Callegario speaks Portuguese, English, and Spanish, and is an obsessive student of the gentle art, having competed in the world's biggest championships with and without the gi.

Experience training at iconic locations like Copacabana Beach and Arpoador, enjoying the climate and beauty of Rio.

Camp package includes:

  • 7 days, 6 nights accommodation in the house
  • Transportation throughout the week in the camp car plus airport transfer (if in the city of Rio and if it's between December 14 and December 24)

What are the requirements to participate in the camp?

There are no specific level requirements. We welcome beginners to black belts. Heck you don’t even have to be training at all! The only requirement is the will to experience new adventures.

Do I need to bring my own equipment?

We recommend bringing your own gi and personal equipment. However, if necessary, we have rental options available.

Are there activities beyond Jiu-Jitsu?

Yes, we organize a variety of activities, such as guided tours, hikes, rapelling, historical site visits, yoga classes and gastronomic experiences.

How does accommodation work during the camp?

Package includes a 7-day 6-night stay at a luxurious beach side location, with different room options, private pool, bbq grill and many amenities.
